Peter Wright continued his recent return to form by reaching the semi-final stages of the World Series of Darts Finals.
Wright defeated Dave Chisnall, Jeff Smith, and Daryl Gurney to reach the final four and set up a clash with either Rob Cross or Michael Smith for a place in the final.
Snakebite could set up another meeting with Luke Littler at the Amsterdam event and the 54-year-old has swiped at the teenager.

Peter Wright takes gibe at Luke Littler
After his victory over Smith, Wright took a subtle shot at the 17-year-old and claimed he didn’t care about anyone else on the tour.
Talking to Online Darts, the two-time World Champion said: “This kid don’t give a monkeys about you, he just wants to destroy the world and destroy every person that’s on that stage against him.
“It’s good for darts but he’s got to learn to lose before he wins.”
Wright beat The Nuke to pick up his first tournament of the year at the German Darts Championship and Littler sent an emotional message after the match.
Wright’s fighting talk comes from a place of respect – and fear
Despite taking a swipe at Littler, it’s clear that Snakebite respects the teenager’s career and sees him as a threat on the tour.
Speaking to Weekly DartsCast, Wright said: “I was playing in London in the Super League at the age of 16. I was probably one of the best players in London around that time.
I had the same sort of attitude he has. He doesn’t care, he just wants to go and rip everyone’s head off.”
There has been a slight changing of the guard in darts during 2024, with Littler’s emergence and Luke Humphries’s dominance, and Wright is standing up and making sure he’s not forgotten about.
With his return to form, he’s put himself back in the conversation for big televised tournaments and he wants to make sure the young guns are still aware of him.
