Darts walk-on anthems have become just as synonymous with the game as 180s and colourful shirts.
Songs become intrinsically linked with a player and add to the pageantry and circus of the game as mass singalongs accrue.
For Dave Chisnall, however, his walk-on theme of ‘Dizzy’ by Vic Reeves and The Wonder Stuff was not his first choice.

Kevin Painter already had Dave Chisnall’s music
During his BDO days, Chisnall would enter tournaments to the Kaiser Chief’s ‘I Predict a Riot’, made famous a decade later by Leeds United fan Luke Humphries who enters to the indie anthem.
Back in 2011, the song was used by 2004 World Championship runner-up Kevin Painter, so Chizzy had to choose something else.
Speaking to Sky Sports, the 44-year-old said: “I would change my walk-on song and I would go back to my first song when I first came to the PDC, The Kaiser Chiefs, I Predict a Riot, because that’s very catchy and I like it.
“However, when I moved to the PDC somebody already had it so I had to change.”
Chizzy opted for the 90s classic ‘Dizzy’ by Vic Reeves and The Wonder Stuff because fans could chant his nickname to the tune of the song.
The World No. 6 said: “When I go out on a night out or during a tournament for a few beers with the boys or with the wife, someone will always go on and request it!”
The two-time World Grand Prix finalist has used the song since his PDC breakthrough in 2011.
What do fans think of Dave Chisnall’s walk on?
‘Dizzy’ is beloved by darts fans and many have named it their favourite on the PDC Tour.
Author and Pointless presenter Richard Osman said: “Michael Van Gerwen and Dave Chisnall have the best walk-on music.”
Another fan wrote: “Dave Chisnall’s walk-on tune ‘Dizzy’ is brilliant!” while one said: “Dave Chisnall’s walk-on has to be a top 10 candidate.”
Chisnall has claimed he won’t even think about retirement until he claims a major PDC tournament.
