Darting legend Steve Beaton has thrown his last dart on the PDC Tour as fellow professionals dressed up as The Bronzed Adonis to wave goodbye.
Beaton lost a last-leg shoot-out in the first round against Niels Zonneveld to lose 6-5 in his final match on Pro Tour.
The 60-year-old announced he would retire at the end of the season and his first-round exit on the Pro Tour confirms he will not be at the World Championship.

Darts pros dress up as Steve Beaton for legends farewell
A selection of the PDC Tour marked Beaton’s final appearance on the Pro Tour by dressing up as the star from his heyday.
Darts professionals John Henderson, Chris Dobey, Joe Cullen, Ross Smith, Nathan Aspinall, Jonny Clayton, and Ryan Joyce turned up to the Leicester event with permed mullet wigs and handlebar mustaches.
Beaton’s look was iconic in the 1990s during his BDO days, continuing into the PDC when he made his debut in 2001.
The 60-year-old is a legend of the game, winning the World Championship and World Masters in the BDO in 1996 and 1993, respectively.
He never captured a major after making the switch to the PDC but reached the semi-final stages of the World Matchplay, World Grand Prix, and UK Open.
