Matthew Edgar believes Beau Greaves can become a top player on the men’s tour, but there’s one thing holding her back.
The 20-year-old has won the WDF Women’s World Championship in back-to-back years but Beau Greaves doesn’t like playing on the PDC men’s tour.
Beau Greaves has dropped out of the World Championships in December to defend her WDF title, but she will be appearing at the Grand Slam of Darts in November.
Matt Edgar believes Greaves is good enough to compete on the tour if she can straighten one aspect of her game out.

Matt Edgar thinks Beau Greaves should believe in herself
Greaves has previously claimed she doesn’t feel confident going toe-to-toe with the men due to her consistency.
Speaking about her remarks, Edgar said: “Beau is right. We don’t have any historical data to argue against it.
“We can pick up a couple of wins here and there and we can say we have rivalled players, but not to the level people suggest with her like she could get to the top 32.
“Do you know what? I believe she can, but if she doesn’t believe she can, she can’t, and we need a world where Beau Greaves believes like we do.”
The Grand Slam of Darts begins in Wolverhampton on November 9.
Opportunities aplenty for women to prove themselves
The final few tournaments of the year offer up several chances for the women’s tour to go head-to-head with the men.
Greaves is set for the Grand Slam of Darts, while Fallon Sherrock and Noa-Lynn van Leuven are gearing up for the World Championships at Alexandra Palace.
Sherrock shocked the world in 2019 by defeating Ted Evetts and Mensur Suljovic at Alexandra Palace and Greaves and van Leuven will be looking to make history of their own.
