Gerwyn Price is a controversial figure in the world of darts and is not afraid to speak his mind.
The Iceman withdrew from the Players Championships in February due to unhappiness with the playing conditions and complained of his dislike for the Premier League in May.
The 39-year-old recently picked up the Australian Darts Masters in Wollongong, but he’s questioned his future in the sport and revealed that he’d be happy to step away from darts.

Gerwyn Price’s ‘main priority is back at home’
The former World Champion has dropped a major hint that darts have taken a backseat in his life in recent months.
Speaking to Online Darts, he said: “I’ll turn up and play in whatever events I’m in. If I’m not in them, I don’t care. I’ve sort of built a platform, so to speak, for me to just do what I want to do.
“If I fall outside the top 64 and finish darts tomorrow, I really don’t care. In previous years it’s been darts first and family life after but I think it’s going to change now.
“It’s family life first, darts after and my main priority is back at home.”
Price is currently ranked No. 6 in the PDC rankings.
Price’s inconsistent 2024
Despite struggling in this year’s biggest tournaments, Price has performed well in World Series events.
He’s picked up two trophies at the international events, in Australia and Norway, and reached the final in the US at Madison Square Garden.
Price will be looking to continue his form from Australia into the closing tournaments of the season, with the World Grand Prix to come in October.
