Luke Littler stormed to his first-ever World Darts Championship crown at Alexandra Palace, but Dave Chisnall found his behaviour in the semi-final strange.
The Nuke swept up the biggest tournament in darts with relative ease to become the youngest-ever winner of the tournament by an outrageous seven years.
Luke Littler defeated Nathan Aspinall, Michael van Gerwen, and Ryan Joyce on his way to his latest major tournament win, but World No. 6 Dave Chisnall thought his actions in his semi-final win over Stephen Bunting were bizarre.

Dave Chisnall thought Luke Littler’s ‘fist bumps’ were strange
The Nuke’s semi-final match against Bunting was played in a friendly manner, with both players willing each other on in an impressive contest.
When either man would produce an impressive moment, they were rewarded by their opponent with a fist bump.
Chisnall, who exited the tournament in the second round to Ricky Evans, thought the overwhelming sportsmanship was too much.
Writing on Kwiff, Chisnall said: “The one big disappointment of the semi-finals was my pal Stephen Bunting. He was phenomenal in the first set but will have been gutted to lose it 3-2, despite the high averages.
“I’m not one for gamesmanship and you won’t hear me slagging folk off, but I did think the fist bumps after every set was a bit weird.”
Littler defeated Bunting 6-1 in the semi-final with an average of 105.48.
Football star shocked by Luke Littler’s composure
Littler has garnered plenty of plaudits since bursting on the scene at the World Darts Championship in 2024.
Luke Littler received a message from David Beckham after his triumphant win at Alexandra Palace and the plaudits from football stars don’t end there.
Speaking about their time together on the Sky panel show A League of their Own, former Manchester City defender Micah Richards heralded The Nuke.
Speaking to The Daily Express, Littler said: “When he goes and wins the World Darts Championship, you are just like, ‘How is he managing this to keep this composure?’
“When he goes down a leg, he fires in a 140 or a 180 and you are just like, ‘How is he doing this?’”
Littler is next in action at the Bahrain Darts Masters on January 16.
