Two-time World Champion Adrian Lewis stepped away from in April 2023, but Jackpot has started to flirt with a return to the sport.

The 39-year-old is set to feature in the MODUS Super Series in 2025 as part of his comeback and many fans have been clambering for the former World No. 1’s return to the PDC.

Lewis has shed new light on a PDC return and outlined the circumstances in which he’d return to the elite game.

Adrian Lewis only wants PDC return if he can compete

Lewis doesn’t want to return to the PDC to make up the numbers. He will only return if he feels he can be competitive.

Speaking to Online Darts, Jackpot said: “The only way I’m going to go back is if my mind’s 100% and I’m going to go 100% at it, you know what I mean?

“I’m not going to be one of them journeymen and not just turn up there and get beat and things like that. If I’m turning up there, I won’t.”

Lewis last appeared in the PDC at the 2023 World Championships when he lost 3-0 to Damon Heta.

Lewis is happy with legacy without darts return

Whether Jackpot returns or not, the 39-year-old is happy with how his career unfolded in the sport.

Lewis won two World Championships, the UK Open, and the European Championship during his glittering career.

In the same interview with Online Darts, Lewis claimed: “I’m just happy I’ve been part of probably the golden generation and been one of the names people remember.

“I’ve got to see the world as well. I’ve traveled all over the world and I’ve just enjoyed it.”

If Lewis can find the form he found a decade ago, he will be as much a danger to this generation as he was the last.
