Thursday brought around another incredible week of Premier League Darts action.
There were a number of fantastic games in Liverpool this week, including an incredible comeback win from Luke Littler against Nathan Aspinall as the teenage sensation won another Premier League night and consolidated his spot at the top of the table.
Littler’s victory was incredibly impressive as he hammered in the trebles while having to deal with a hostile crowd.
However, speaking to Online Darts after the game, Rob Cross has suggested that he wasn’t all that impressed by the World Championship finalist, claiming that he wasn’t incredible on the night, claiming that Cross’ own shortcomings cost him the game against the teenager.

Rob Cross not that impressed by Luke Littler
Cross spoke about his opponent after the game.
“You can’t tail off and you still have to hit legs. I’m not going to put Luke down, but it wasn’t like he was incredible, it’s that I wasn’t doing the right thing for me. I won’t put the boy down, but at the same time if you’re not playing, happy days for him you know,” Cross said.
Luke Littler was fantastic
This just goes to show the sorts of standards that are being set by these players these days.
Littler hammered in a 105 average in the final against Cross, and yet, his opponent can come out and say he wasn’t incredible.
That says a lot about the standard of Littler’s game these days, and the scary part is that we can see where Cross is coming from.
There were spells in their match where Littler did have dips, but, unfortunately for Cross, he didn’t take his opportunities.
Cross now looks unlikely to be headed to Finals night at the O2 Arena, but, who knows? Perhaps if he rediscovers his best form and other results go his way he could just sneak in.
