Raymond van Barneveld has been a fan-favourite on the PDC star for decades.
The 57-year-old has won 6 PDC premier events in his glittering career and will go down as one of the greatest darts players to ever play the game.
He isn’t loved by everyone on the tour, however, as a former PDC player and van Barneveld’s former Dutch partner, has revealed that the pair no longer speak.

Roland Scholten ‘not waiting’ for van Barneveld reconciliation
2004 UK Open winner Roland Scholten has announced that former partners are no longer in contact.
Speaking to the Double Top podcast, Scholten said: “Some things happened in our career. I’m always very black-and-white and very honest with everybody. Whether it’s a friend or an enemy.
“There are things that have happened that are not acceptable with me. I’m not waiting for him to come over for coffee anymore.
“At some point, I’m done with it. And that’s okay, too, because you can’t get through the same door with everyone.”
Scholten stepped down from the PDC in 2013.
When will van Barneveld’s retire?
The Dutch icon has had a tumultuous period towards the end of his career, having retired before making a dramatic return to the sport.
The 2007 World Championship winner announced his retirement in March 2019, before reversing his decision almost instantly.
After the 2020 World Championships, the 57-year-old once again retired before gaining his tour card at Q-School 14 months later.
After winning a Players Championship title in March, the Dutchman shows no signs of saying goodbye to the sport for a third time.
