World Darts Championship Day Three latest

The third day of the World Darts Championship got underway with James Hurrell’s clash with Canadian Jim Long.

The English thrower swept aside his North American counterpart in a routine straight-sets victory to set up a clash with Michael van Gerwen in the second round.

Doets recovered from the 33-dart leg to defeat van Leuven 3-1 and set up another second-round match with Michael Smith after their previous meeting in 2024.

The likes of Leonard Gates, Connor Scutt, and Robert Owen have also secured their place in the second round of the competition.
