Michael Smith has played in darts tournaments all over the world and now he’s revealed his favourite venue outside of the UK.
The World Series of Darts takes the PDC professionals to the likes of Bahrain, Poland and the USA in iconic international venues.
Michael Smith is currently Down Under for the Australian Darts Masters in Wollongong and he’s been talking about which venue he likes to play in most.

Michael Smith highlights Madison Square Garden
As part of the US leg of the World Series of Darts, the PDC rolled into Madison Square Garden in New York and Smith was blown away by its legendary status.
Talking to Online Darts after his victory over Stuart Coburn in Australia, Smith said: “I’ve never played in a venue like that.
“Obviously Alexandra Palace is my favourite but when you walk into [Madison Square Garden] thinking of the other stars that’s been there it’s a weird feeling.”
The Bully Boy lost in 6-1 to Jeff Smith in the first round of the US Masters at Madison Square Garden this year.
The return of Michael Smith
The former World Champion went through a nine month slump without a PDC title before picking up a Players Championship in May.
The 33-year-old, who recently revealed when he would retire, followed that up by winning the World Cup of Darts, alongside Luke Humphries, and he will be hoping those two results change his fortunes.
His most recent performance saw him reach the quarterfinals of the Australian Darts Masters, where he lost a close encounter to Premier League champion Luke Littler.
