Matthew Edgar has become just as famous away from the oche as he is as a professional darts player.
The 38-year-old has become a reliable tipster in the game thanks to his YouTube channel and he isn’t shy about making an outlandish tip about an underseen player.
Prime Time has revealed to his 50,000 subscribers on YouTube the player he believes will make it into the top 32 before the year is out.

Matthew Edgar tips Cameron Menzies for success
Edgar believes Cameron Menzies’ recent form is too good for him to not make the top 32 soon.
He said: ” Menzie’s is thirteenth according to averages over the last 12 months, he’s averaging 95.65.
“He got into the World Series of Darts, he was reaching regular quarterfinals and semifinals before reaching the final of the Players Championship recently just losing out in the final to Chris Dobey, averaging over 100.
“In the last three months Menzies has hit 21 100-plus averages earning him a spot, as things stand, in the Worlds, the Players Championship Finals, the European Championships, and the World Grand Prix.
“I think we’re going to see Menzies in the top 32 going into 2025”.
Menzies will next play James Wade at the Flanders Darts Trophy on September 4.
Menzies’ imperious form
Edgar is right to tip the Scotsman, with Cammy currently top of the PDC Form Guide ahead of the likes of Luke Littler and Luke Humphries.
Menzies has reached the quarter-finals in five of his last six Players Championship appearances, including his final appearance against Chris Dobey.
If this immense form continues, Edgar’s prediction will undoubtedly come true.
