It’s fair to say Luke Littler didn’t have the best of times on the PDC Oceanic tour in Australia and New Zealand.
The Nuke struggled to acclimatise to the time zones Down Under and suffered two disappointing defeats at the tournaments.
Luke Littler was hammered 8-1 in the final in Wollongong by Gerwyn Price, while he blew a 6-2 lead to crash out to eventual winner Luke Humphries in the semi-final in Hamilton.
The 17-year-old isn’t the type of player to shy away from a loss, however, and he’s confirmed an upcoming tournament he’s set to feature in.

Luke Littler set for Czech Darts Open
Littler will be looking to bounce back from those disappointing defeats and the Premier League winner has confirmed an appearance at an event on the Euro Tour.
Littler has recently missed a few Euro Tour events.
Speaking on a TikTok live stream at 10:30PM (19/8/2024), Littler confirmed he plans to play the Czech Darts Open in October.
Littler said: ‘Are you going to Prague for the euro tour? I think so yeah.’
The Czech Darts Open is part of the PDC European Tour and will take place on 18-20 October.
Littler’s European form is impressive
Littler has been impressive in European Tour events, winning two of the seven events in 2024 since his star-making appearance at the World Championships at the turn of the year.
The Nuke picked up the Belgian Darts Open in March by beating Rob Cross 8-7 and the Austrian Darts Open in April by toppling Joe Cullen 8-4.
The Nuke will appear as one of the seeded players at the tournament and he will start his campaign from the second round.
