Darting sensation Luke Littler has now revealed what achievement he’s more proud of in darts; his run to the World Championship final on debut or winning the Premier League.
It’s been a week since Luke Littler hit a nine-dart finish and beat Luke Humphries to be crowned Premier League champion at the O2 Arena.
At the age of just 17, Luke ‘The Nuke’ has just claimed his first major PDC title just months after coming agonisingly close to winning the World Darts Championship.
Littler got revenge for that defeat against Humphries by beating him on arguably the second biggest stage in darts, impressing with entertainment and sheer quality in equal measure.
Ahead of his first involvement in the US Darts Masters, a prestigious tournament that starts on Saturday, the teenage sensation has reflected on his achievements in the sport.
It’s been a whirlwind six months and he’s achieved more in darts than most professionals dream of, reaching the World final and winning the Premier League, but which is he more proud of?

Luke Littler shares which achievement he’s more proud of
Speaking on the MMAFightingonSBN YouTube channel, Littler was asked what accomplishment meant more to him; reaching the World Championship final or winning the Premier League, and he responded:
“Winning the Premier League. I’m the youngest one to win the Premier League and I’m the youngest player to win a major competition.”
Littler made history when he lifted the Premier League last week and it could spark an era of dominance from the 17-year-old.
Luke Littler is once in a generation
Many youngsters his age have their life rarely figured out but Littler has mastered the art of throwing arrows and when he’s on top form, he’s a joy to behold on the oche.
His capacity to produce the spectacular – hitting his fourth nine-dart finish of the year last week – just shows what a special talent he is.
It’s rare that someone so young in any sport comes along and dominates but what we’re seeing is once in a lifetime.
In other sports such as football, Wayne Rooney is an example of someone who took the world by storm, scoring against Arsenal in the Premier League at the age of 16.
When he burst onto the scene, you just knew he was going to be special and that is exactly how people feel about Littler.
He just does things on the dartboard that no other player on the planet can replicate and for that reason, it’s scary to think how many titles he could add to his name, although Chris Mason believes he’ll retire from darts before he turns 30.
