Luke Littler won his second major title of the year with the Grand Slam of Darts and his comments afterward should make the rest of the tour quake in their boots.
The Nuke was in stunning form in Wolverhampton, tossing aside Jermaine Wattimena and Martin Lukeman with ease and producing remarkable comebacks against Gary Anderson and Mike De Decker.
Luke Littler has taken to his Instagram to suggest there’s more to come from the 17-year-old with the World Championship approaching.

Luke Littler makes bold claim ahead of World Championship
The Nuke posted an image with the Eric Bristow Trophy to his 1.3 million followers with the caption: ‘Moments like these are why we play darts’.
It received comments from the likes of Tottenham midfield James Maddison and World Champion Luke Humphries, as well as podcaster JaackMaate.
Replying to the host of Jack’s Happy Hour, The Nuke told the 31-year-old: ‘only just getting started’ which could end up being scarily true.
Littler had a tournament average of 105.81 across seven matches against three major winners and one major finalist.
If Littler can get any better than that, he’ll surely claim his first-ever World Championship at Alexandra Palace.
Luke Littler crashes into the PDC top 5
After battling with the big boys for the entirety of 2024, Littler has finally joined the elite rankings with his Grand Slam of Darts win.
Littler dislodged Dave Chisnall from the top 5 and his arrival means Peter Wright drops out for the first time in 11 years.
With a final appearance to protect from last year’s event, it’s unlikely he’ll make any headway toward the number one spot at Alexandra Palace, but The Nuke is more than deserving of breaking into the big boys.
