Asian No. 1 Alexis Toylo’s World Darts Championship campaign came to an end, but fans were not happy with the pace he played at.
The Filipino lost 3-1 to the Polish Eagle Krzysztof Ratajski in his second-round clash after his shock first-round victory over Richard Veenstra.
Despite his impressive display in both matches, fans were unhappy with Toylo’s pace during his match against Ratajski.

Fans demand Alexis Toylo pick up the pace
The Filipino darts star recalls the pace of Justin Pipe and many fans took to social media to declare it a ‘painful’ watch.
On X, one fan wrote: “I can’t watch the Toylo game anymore, I thought Justin pipe was slow!” while another said: “It’s painful how slow Toylo is!”
Another said: “He plays so slow, glad he’s out. All these slow players make for real tough viewing” and one wrote: “That Toylo is unbelievably slow!”
After defeating Toylo, Ratajski will play Kevin Doets in the third round.
Day nine’s afternoon session a slow affair
With Mickey Mansell, Toylo, and Andrew Gilding all competing in the afternoon session, it was a sluggish watch at Alexandra Palace.
While Toylo’s campaign came to an end, Andrew Gilding overcame Martin Lukeman to set up a third-round clash with Nathan Aspinall.
Elsewhere, Josh Rock comfortably came through his match with Rhys Griffin to reach the third round where he’ll play Chris Dobey.
