Fallon Sherrock shocked the world in 2019 when she became the first woman to win a match at the PDC World Championships.
The Queen of the Palace defeated Ted Evetts and Mensur Suljović at the Alexandra Palace event and has since competed on both the men and women’s side of the draw.
Despite never being shy about upsetting the apple cart, and wanting to push the women’s game on, there is one male player she doesn’t want to face.
The inaugural Women’s World Matchplay winner has revealed the one player she hopes she doesn’t come up against.

Fallon Sherrock doesn’t want to play partner Cameron Menzies
Sherrock is in a relationship with fellow professional Cameron Menzies and she has announced that she’d rather not play her partner in a TV match.
Speaking to Online Darts, the 30-year-old said: “Can you imagine the arguments afterward? Regardless who wins? I think it would just be so nervy.
“I don’t think it would be a good game for anyone to watch because we’d both be quite nervous. I know everyone wants to see it but there’ll be a lot of nerves in that one.
“I don’t think it’s a great thing everyone wants to watch it, just put me up against any other player I’ll be fine! We’ve already had this conversation about who would win.
“I always back myself he always backs himself, but hopefully we never have to see it on TV!”
Cameron Menzies is currently in red-hot form and tops the PDC Form Guide ahead of Luke Littler.
Sherrock’s unfortunate 2024
Sherrock’s year has been rocked by illness and injury in 2024 and she hasn’t made the impact she would have liked.
She failed to qualify out of Q-School at the start of the year and lost to Beau Greaves in the final of the Women’s World Matchplay in July.
The Queen of the Palace most recently made it to the semi-final of Women’s Series Event 20 before crashing out to eventual winner Robin Byrne.
