Connor Scutt has been to the brink and back in 2024 as he started the year by losing his PDC Tour Card and worked his way back up through the Challenger Tour.
The Sniper has been in and around the PDC since 2022 and has achieved some success, but it’s been an inconsistent run for the 28-year-old.

Who is Connor Scutt?
Scutt is a promising young journeyman who has been winning plaudits for his performances outside of the PDC Tour in 2024.
Scutt lost his Tour Card thanks to his 3-0 loss to Gerwyn Price at the 2024 World Darts Championship in his second-round tie.
The current World No. 70 tried to win his Tour Card back via Q-School but finished seventeenth and failed to bounce back instantly.
Forced to play on the Challenger Tour, Scutt bounced back in the second-tier system winning two events and reaching two finals.
With these results, he confirmed his place in the Grand Slam of Darts and the World Darts Championship and regained his PDC Tour Card alongside Wesley Plaisier.
Scutt capped off his stunning return to the PDC elite by reaching his first major tournament quarterfinal at the Players Championship Finals.
The 28-year-old defeated Martin Lukeman, Daryl Gurney, and Mario Vandenbogaerde before succumbing to Stephen Bunting in the last eight.
Connor Scutt’s relationship with Damon Heta
Scutt has been drawn against Ben Robb in the World Darts Championship first round and could meet Damon Heta if he beats the Australian.
The draw caused a lot of pain for Heta who took to X to ask if the draw could be repeated. Asked why by fans, Heta responded: “It ain’t about being worried.
“It’s more the fact I’ve for a lot of time for Connor & we practice together.”
Heta and Scutt have never met in the PDC before and it’s set to be an emotional meeting for both should Scutt defeat Robb.
