The Winmau World Darts Masters is back for 2025 and its undergone a huge revamp as some of the world’s biggest players flock to the event.
For the first time ever, the tournament is ranked and will be conducted out of sets rather than legs as Stephen Bunting looks to defend his crown.
The Bullet won his first-ever major tournament at the event in 2024 and will be looking to build upon his fantastic start to the year.

Who is playing in the Winmau World Masters?
The top 24 players from the PDC Order of Merit go straight through to the televised stage of the event, while another 64 players will compete in a group stage for qualification.

The Winmau World Masters takes place from January 29 until February 2 at Arena MK in Milton Keynes.
How to watch Winmau World Masters
The Winmau World Masters will be broadcast from the first round onwards on ITV4 with the likes of Jacqui Oatly, Alan Warriner-Little, and Chris Mason providing analysis and coverage.
The preliminary rounds, which begin the day before the official event, can be watched on PDC TV.

What is the prize money for the Winmau World Masters?
A total of £500,000 is up for grabs at the Milton Keynes event, with £100,000 of that sum going to the winner.
The rest is split between the others stages of the tournament and is as follows.

What is the Winmau World Masters format?
Just like the World Darts Chamionship, the Winmau World Masters will be a longer format of darts with set rather than leg play.
Each round will be contested for a different amount of sets, with players getting a set for every three legs

- First Round – Best of five sets
- Second Round – Best of seven sets
- Quarter-Finals – Best of seven sets
- Semi-Finals – Best of nine sets
- Final – Best of 11 sets
