Danny Noppert did Cameron Menzies a huge favour at the Grand Slam of Darts by dispatching Martin Schindler in his final group game.
The result meant Cameron Menzies qualified for the knockout stages of the Wolverhampton event in second place behind the Dutchman.
As a way of thanks, Menzies has taken to social media to honour the 2022 UK Open champion in trademark fashion.

Menzies is very open on social media, both cracking jokes and giving himself a hard time with a public meltdown, and he’s honoured Noppert in comedic fashion.
The 35-year-old changed his profile pictures on Facebook and X to images of the current World No. 12, even mocking up a picture with speech bubbles reading: “For you, Cammy”.
Thanks to Noppert’s exploits against Schindler, Menzies is lined up to face Group A winner James Wade in the second round.

Darts fans loved Menzies’ tongue-in-cheek response to Noppert’s win and took to social media to celebrate the Scotsman.
One fan wrote: “Cameron Menzies changing his profile picture to Noppert is funny. Hahaha!” while another said: “Cameron Menzies owes Noppert a pint or two!”
With his win, Noppert has set up a clash with Mickey Mansell is the first knockout stage of the Wolverhampton event.
