The Premier League Darts has a rich history in its 20-year existence since kicking off in 2005.
Luke Littler, Phil Taylor, and Michael van Gerwen have scooped the Premier League as just eight different names have won the prize in two decades.
In the 2025 event, Luke Littler, Luke Humphries, Michael van Gerwen, Gerwyn Price, Stephen Bunting, Rob Cross, Nathan Aspinall, and Chris Dobey compete in the tournament which tours the UK, Ireland, and the Netherlands.
Only ten stars have hit a nine-darter in the 20 years since the Premier League Darts debuted in 2005. Here’s every name who’s managed a nine-darter in the Sky Sports touring competition.

Three perfect visits have been produced on 13 occasions across 20 tournaments, with just ten players managing the feat.
Littler became the first player to hit a nine-darter in the final at the 2024 event as he scooped his first-ever major by toppling Humphries.
There are just three players who have managed a nine-darter more than once in the Premier League, as Raymond van Barneveld, Phil Taylor, and Price have hit darting perfection on two occasions.

There are three players who have both hit and been hit by nine-darters, as José de Sousa achieved it against Nathan Aspinall in 2021 but felt the pain of it against Jonny Clayton in the same year.
Likewise, Michael Smith hit a nine-darter against Daryl Gurney in 2021 but was on the receiving end when Price managed the feat in 2024.
Dary Gurney and James Wade are the only players to be on the wrong end of a nine-darter on two occasions, with Superchin falling fowl to Michael Smith and Peter Wright in 2020 and The Machine succumbing to Taylor and Price in 2010 and 2022.
2025 Premier League Darts nine-darter prize
The Premier League Darts is back and there’s more prize money on the line than ever before.
While prize money for the tournament remains at £1 million, a £10,000 bonus is on the line for each individual night winner.
On top of that, any of the eight players who hit a nine-darter will earn themselves a set of solid gold darts made bespoke by Humphrey and Hawkins.
Tournament sponsor BetMGM has upped the ante to try and entice one of Littler, Humphries, van Gerwen, Price, Bunting, Cross, Aspinall, and Dobey to achieve the perfect leg.
The Premier League Darts kicks off on February 6 in Belfast and runs until the play-offs at The O2 in London on May 29.
